Nighthawk PT1000

Nighthawk PT1000

The PT1000 is the evolution of the Nighthawks intelligent remote control boards that use paging signals for activation. With a new easy wire terminal strip the PT1000 is easily integrated into any OEM equipment or industrial remote control system. The PT1000 board can control up to eight relays as well as send text messages. Text messages can be sent to serial printers, digital signs, or computer screens. The PT1000 is used in hundreds of remote control applications requiring simple on off control and can be easily combined with the ability to send digital messages. Typical applications for the PT1000 include traffic signage, digital message signs, civil defense warning sirens, fire department alert systems, irrigation pumps, computer equipment rebooting, school zone flashers, and street lighting controls. Unique to this product, Nighthawk offers two standard choices of operating firmware. The Variable Time firmware allows the user to activate relays for user selectable amounts of time. This is accomplished via the command that is paged into the unit. This is ideal for applications such as park lighting or irrigation control where the user wishes to designate a time for the relay to be activated. The Fixed Function firmware hard codes in the time functions for relay function at the time of programming. Thus, when a relay is activated it will do so for the time that has been pre-programmed into the unit. Applications include sirens, alarms, and external latching relays, to name a few. Price: $450.00
