The FAS-8 in conjunction with a 911 CAD system alerts firehouses and activates or deactivates up to eight electrical devices and offers a rip and run feature by simultaneously delivering an alphanumeric text message to a serial printer. Because this device is activated based on receiving proper capcodes, groups and subgroups can be programmed into the intelligent firmware to determine which relays to activate or deactivate.
